NEWS: A look at the different editions for the Fifty Shades of Grey Bluray/DVD

With Fifty Shades of Grey now being released on Blu-ray/DVD different retailers are offering different versions of the film all exclusives to their stores. Thanks to Universal I was given the chance to look at the three different special versions of the film and see what each retailer has to offer. Below you will find what each has.

Walmart Version:

This Walmart Exclusive comes with DVD Blu-ray & Digital HD Versions of the film. It comes in a book style cover that is only available at Walmart. Inside the hard cover is a photo book of the film which has a bunch of beautiful stills from various scenes of the film featuring all of the cast members.

It has the Unrated Version of the Film, Alternate Ending and Teaser for Fifty Shades Darker along with a lot of Behind the Scenes footage.

Best Buy Version: 

This version comes with all of the same features as the Wal-Mart version except it doesn't come with the photo book but the film comes in a Collectible Steel Book Packaging that is only available at Best Buy.

Target Version:
This version comes with the features available in the other two versions but it's got its own Exclusive which is a Bonus Disc with 30 minutes of bonus content that isn't available with other editions.
In this exclusive disc there's a look at the Music of the film, A look at a Signing with E L James in Vancouver, The cast discussing seeing the film for the first time, A look at how many of the scenes were shot and a photo gallery with many stills from the film. The film comes in regular packaging but with a nice sleeve over it as well.

NEWS: Fifty Shades of Grey DVD/Blu-ray Release Date News

Fifty Shades of Grey will be out on Digital HD on May 1 and DVD & Blu-ray Combo Pack on May 8.

It will feature deleted scenes and an alternate ending.
The unrated version will only be available for Blu-ray, not DVD version. The Blu-ray will have both regular and unrated versions.

NEWS: Official Fifty continues with exciting stuff ahead

Official Fifty is back again! For those of you who aren't aware of what it is, it ran last year from November 13, 2014-February 2015. It's run by Universal in which they choose 50 people with websites and such to help promote the film by sending over exclusive information, photos, items to giveaway to fans and more.

I am a member of Official Fifty and have been asked to be a part of it again for its promotion for the DVD/Blu-ray release.

The promotion period will run from March 30, 2015 - May 15, 2015

According to the most recent information give to me this time the promotion will include activities that could involve breaking news, a surprise Twitter event and a first look at new content.

The first activity will be available sometime this week!

NEWS: Fifty Shades of Grey rated R

Although early last year I'd announced the film would be rated R, it has now been released as to why the film is rated R:
For strong sexual content including dialogue, some unusual behavior, graphic nudity and language.

The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for Fifty Shades of Grey will be released on February 10, 2015.
